Cinco de Mayo in Socorro
The event kicks off at 10am with a parade down the center of town. The rodeo is from 1-4pm at the Socorro County Fairgrounds and features many exciting events, including the Sullivan Bucking Bulls. The Celebration takes place from 3-9pm at the Historic Plaza and features live music from The Remedy, Vanessa Aragon and Mariachi Socorro, as well as a spirit tent, arts & crafts and of course delicious food!

Fly Freedom's Flag Boat Parade
The event begins at 10am with a POW/MIA service at Dam Site Restaurant Patio. Decorated boats meet at Dam Site to start the boat parade at noon. At 12:30 the boats pass by the main boat ramp for wreath toss and playing of taps. All are invited to decorate their boats, rvs or campsites and join the parade honoring those who've served in the military.
